Tigers Give Strong Showing Saturday

After a disappointing day in the standings on Friday, the Tigers came out Saturday morning and were much sharper.  Opening the day with a 33-6 walloping of Katy Mayde Creek and following that up with a 20-14 victory over Hays Consolidated.  The Tigers then fell to Alief Taylor and the nation's top TE prospect Martellus Bennett.  We'll have pictures up from both days later.

Tigers Struggle In Pool Play

The Tigers struggled on Friday and lost all three games.  In the first game against Cy-Creek the Tigers fell 39-20 and never really got going against the pool favorite.  Against Granbury an interception returned for a touchdown cost the Tigers in their 19-14 loss and the final game against Troup came down to an extra point conversion that Troup intercepted which caused the Tigers to fall to 0-3 for the day.  The Tigers resume play tomorrow morning at 8am.
